best night ever.

Hello!  Quick post, and then it's back to college applications and research.
Yesterday, I went to the Gavin DeGraw, Train, and Maroon 5 concert at my State Fair. OH my goodness, it was amazing. Train is one of my favorite bands and they were so fantastic I just about cried. The show was outstanding, and I danced and sang my life away. It was the perfect definition of summer. Ahh. I made a playlist of all the songs they sang so I can come back to it in the winter and reminisce. Now, listen to these and tell me you don't want to smile.

saturdays

Hi to you lovely people! I hope you had a great week. Week 1 of band camp is officially over and I am extremely happy to say it was a success. Of course we got yelled at multiple times, did far to many push ups and listened to a fantastic story about Tinkerbell (twice) but we also learned half of our show! It's coming along quite swimmingly. Also in the news, I got a Christmas gift (I'm aware, its January) from family friends and It is wonderful! It's a Vera Bradley "Taxi Wallet" and its about everything a teenage girl  could ask for in a small wallet. Saturdays are one of the two days I don't have band in the summer, so I worked 8-2, went to the thrift store for 15 minutes and then came home expecting to go to my boyfriends house. Unfortunately, plans don't always work out around here, so I stayed home and studied for ACTS and (wait for it, wait for it) cleaned my closet! Two hours later it looks great, and I even got a " Great use of time" from my momma :). It is all organized and fancy, which is quite opposite of my personality, so I can only imagine how long it will remain like this. Then I decided to work on my AP English homework and update my blog and Tumblr. So here I am. I will blog again shortly!

major slacking.

HELLO, I am so busy it is crazy. Two weeks ago I made a crazy trip to Boston and visited 9 colleges. It was lovely. And then I worked everyday the next week, and I also had marching band everyday. Tomorrow starts Band Camp, the most wonderful two weeks of summer. Sarcasm, if you can't tell. It's gonna be a party. I also will have to work in between 3 hour practices and write a letter to my AP English teacher, fill out a college application, write an essay, and get a parking pass for school. This is really just a Landry list for my own use. Also, memorize marching band music. WOOOOT. so I will leave you with the wonders of Foster the People. Good day to you.
